This product is horrible. Smaller than anticipated. Have to jiggle (understatement–thrust back and forth) the drawers to get them open and very little room to store articles of clothing once drawers are pulled out w/o pulling entire drawer open.
There’s a beautiful dresser at Ikea (oxy moron perhaps?), a lot bigger, but same idea—tall and narrow. $279.99 and sturdier. Don’t buy this.
AAA Home Furniture Discounts lacks integrity should be avoided at all costs. I have dealt with hundreds of Sellers in the Amazon Marketplace and AAA Home Furniture Discounts is by far the worst. They misrepresented the product (it’s not solid wood and actually contains cheap particleboard) and refused to replace damaged parts, then taunted me and said they would win against any claim I might file. They are completely unprofessional and never even sent an order acknowledgment or shipping confirmation. DO NOT REINFORCE THIS BEHAVIOR!
We bought this hoping it would be nice and shiny finish on the compressed boards. Unfortunately it wasn’t good. First of all the assembly was more difficult because of the weak manual, although its good that this item came in two boxes. Easier to lift this way.
When put together the drawers don’t move in a straight line. They will lean left or right or get stuck. But, the worst problem is the finish on the boards. It feels like glued on paper and is not shiny like in the picture at all. Maybe if you rubbed it with a little greasy polish it would be better.
Interior of the drawer is kind of rough and gray, neither smooth or polished.
